Jorgie Porter’s Cheshire Home Meticulously Targeted by Burglars: ‘They’ve Really Planned It’

Actress Jorgie Porter, renowned for her roles in ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity’, recounted a harrowing experience of almost falling victim to burglars. The 35-year-old actress, who shot to fame playing Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, resides in a luxurious home in Cheshire with her fiancé Ollie Piotrowski and their son, Forest.

Sharing the traumatic incident on her Instagram Story, Jorgie revealed, “I’m really upset and really scared and angry that our house was almost robbed last night. People tried to get in.” She detailed the methodical steps the intruders took, saying, “They came over the gate. Obviously it’s been planned because all the cables have been cut. The wifi has been cut in the area. Our alarm was taken off the wall. They’ve really planned it. Sick.”

Holding her son Forest, the shaken star expressed her gratitude towards the quick response from the police. “It’s really scary. I want to say thank you to the police for turning up really quickly last night – and how many there were. It actually made us feel a little bit safe.” She added, “I’m just so angry. Why would people want to come – it’s just so upsetting. I hope nobody is put in this position because it’s really horrible.” Jorgie ended her message with a stern hope that the perpetrators face consequences, saying, “I hope they just get what’s coming to them.”

In a separate personal revelation from 2021, Jorgie and Ollie experienced a rare natural pregnancy with quadruplets, with odds standing at 700,000 to one. Speaking to Fabulous, she conveyed the emotional rollercoaster of this discovery. “It was so stressful. I wanted to believe everything was going to be okay, but I was scared because I knew the risks,” she shared. The couple faced a heart-wrenching decision when Jorgie was offered a foetal reduction operation, a procedure that might improve the survival chances of the remaining babies. Choosing to let nature take its course, tragedy struck when a 14-week scan showed that all four babies had succumbed in a missed miscarriage. Recalling the grief, Jorgie said it “didn’t make sense” since she hadn’t experienced any typical miscarriage symptoms. Throughout the ordeal, she appreciated Ollie’s unwavering support.
